Prizes Time!!! Philips, the 1st Wang & Li Cup Champion
Many people have asked us, “Why a
rocks, paper, scissors tournament???” Our only good answer
to that is, “Why not?” It’s lively, spirited, and fun game.
As a tournament, it’s team-oriented and competitive, but not
in too serious a manner. And, it’s just different. Sure,
dinners, luncheons, and cocktail receptions are a good way
for people to interact, but how often do you get to meet
someone new by playing them in rocks, paper scissors?
Actually, the main purpose of our 1st
Annual Wang & Li Cup Rocks, Paper Scissors Tournament and
End-Of-Year Party was just to celebrate with and get to know
others in our HR and HR services community who worked hard
this past year for the many companies and clients in China
who rely on us to respond to their critical talent and
staffing issues.
Last Saturday afternoon, we were please
to have over 120 people join our party, and 18 rocks, paper,
scissors teams enter our tournament. We’d like to give a
special thanks to all the rocks, paper, scissors
participants who made our 1st Annual Wang & Li
Cup Tournament a very entertaining and successful event. In
particular, we’d also like to congratulate the team from
Philips, which included Clare, Yang, and Ivy, for being our
first official Wang & Li Cup champions. We hope you’ll enjoy
keeping and cherishing the Cup with pride for the next
year.
It is our intention is to hold our
End-Of-Year Party every year, so we look forward to many
more of you joining us next year, along with even more teams
for our 2nd Annual Wang & Li Cup Rocks, Paper,
Scissors Tournament. So see you all there next year! |
