"This
year is going to be a very tough one for our business. But at the same
time, it also gives us the chance to weed out and clean up the lesser
performers in our company and to upgrade our overall talent.” That

Wang, and GM, Rita Dong, will be traveling around the
U.S. to deliver presentations at top MBA
programs and Asian-American professional organizations on the topic of
The Global Financial Crisis' Impact On China's Employment Market: And
How To Successfully Identify And Pursue Opportunities In The Mainland From
The U.S. “The response that we’ve gotten from U.S.
organizations for this topic has been fantastic, and we’re really excited
about making this trip and being able to share our front-line insights to
U.S. audiences on what we’re currently seeing in China’s employment market
as a result of the global recession, says Rita Dong. “Particularly
with the tough times and difficult employment picture that people are
facing in the states right now, the topic of exploring and pursuing
opportunities in the mainland seems to be quite timely and of increasing
interest to many. For this roadshow, we’re really going to focus on
what U.S.-based professionals should be thinking about and doing if they
are serious about trying to develop their career in China today.”
The roadshow
will move from the East Coast to the West Coast, with stops in Boston, New
York, Philadelphia, Chicago, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. Presentation
events have been scheduled and are being hosted by MBA student groups at
MIT, Harvard, New York University, Columbia, Wharton, University of
Chicago, Northwestern,, UCLA, UC Irvine, and UC Berkeley, and by
professional organizations that include NECINA (in Boston), NYTFA (New York
Taiwanese Finance Association), TAP (Taiwanese American Professionals of
Los Angeles), and CNET and NAAAP (in San Francisco) <For full article> top
