The largest company in Hardware industry entered china Market and found the first factory in China in 1993, currently its operations including 7 factories 3 IPO and 5 sales companies in Asia with two hardware and tooling factories in Zhongshan city in China.
Responsibilities:
•Develop product and component mechanical designs, drawings, and specifications to meet functional requirements defined by system level designs.
• Perform basic analysis of component designs for weight, performance, life limits, etc. to optimize cost and quality.
•Work closely with other Engineers and Project Managers to define functional specifications, correctly estimate time and effort required for design tasks, and provide satisfactory design output (drawings, specifications, prototypes, testing, etc.)
•Be responsible compliance to design control procedures, both those documented by the company as well as generally accepted best practices.
Top 3 Requirements:
•Minimum three years professional experience in mechanical design with a four year Bachelor’s degree, or two years experience with a Master’s degree.
•Must be skilled in use of Pro-E design applications and Microsoft Office applications.
•Must be familiar with material science, particularly properties of metals.
•Experience with application of Six Sigma quality methods to product design is preferred.
Sepcial Requirements:
•The position holder must have good communication skills in English.
•Experience and familiarity with security industry and products (locks, automated doors, door hardware) is desired but not required.
•Prior business experience with North American or European companies is preferred.
